Divine Alignment
Alignment is growth into the likeness of God by grace, tested by humility, holiness, truth and fruit.
Divine alignment is not private intuition elevated above examination. Romans 12:2 links transformation to the renewal of the mind. Second Corinthians 3:18 speaks of transformation into the image of the Lord. The movement therefore interprets alignment as an increasingly integrated life of communion, discernment and obedience.
Participation, not self-deification
To participate in divine life by grace does not mean becoming God by essence. It means receiving and reflecting what God gives: life, love, holiness, wisdom and communion. Creator and creature remain distinct.
How alignment is tested
Claims of spiritual alignment should be tested by Scripture, Christlike character, the fruit of the Spirit, truthful community, humility, safeguarding and the consequences produced in other people's lives.
Alignment that produces superiority, coercion or indifference to harm is misalignment, whatever spiritual vocabulary surrounds it.
