Formation
Restorers are formed through prayer, Scripture, repentance, sacramental life, disciplined attention, service and accountable community.
Movements fail when identity outruns formation. The Priesthood therefore treats formation as prior to platform, title or influence.
A rule of formation
Formation includes daily prayer and Scripture, regular silence, fasting appropriate to health and circumstance, truthful repentance, participation in Christian community, service, restitution where responsibility requires it and periodic examination of the fruit one's life is producing.
Desert wisdom
The ancient Egyptian desert tradition reminds the movement that spiritual power without humility is dangerous. Silence exposes compulsions. Fasting reveals appetites. Prayer recentres desire. Obedience and community challenge self-deception. Mercy tests whether discipline has become love.
No coercive disclosure
Formation does not require public confession of trauma, forced reconciliation, surrender of financial autonomy or unquestioning obedience to leaders. Safeguarding and conscience remain part of restorative integrity.
